Listen Technologies has appointed The Bakery Consultants to provide support and sales in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Russia, with president and founder Jim Bakker named Regional Sales Manager for these regions.
Based near Tours, France, The Bakery represents manufacturers of professional audio products with sales support throughout the regions it serves. In his new role with Listen, Bakker will handle the set-up and management of distributors and dealers in these regions, and will spearhead Listen’s expansion by providing support at hours closer to local time than Listen’s US-based support network.

After a tenure as sound engineer on several tours, Bakker began working with Harman France in 1997 as product specialist for installed sound products. In 2001, he was appointed international product specialist for installed sound products and wireless equipment for AKG Acoustics, and in 2002 he took over sales management for Western Europe. He was offered an EMEA sales position with Klotz Digital in 2006, and founded The Bakery in 2009. Other current clients include Lectrosonics and One Systems.
