Ampco Flashlight Group has acquired leading Benelux audio supplier, Audiopro Netherlands. Peter de Fouw of Ampco Flashlight and Rolf Dijkstra of Audiopro head up the merger. Both men possess extensive industry experience and have extensive national and international networks.
‘Audiopro is a welcome addition to the Ampco Flashlight Group and our sales companies TM Audio Holland and Lightco Netherlands,’ says de Fouw. ‘It will enable the group to offer an even more comprehensive product portfolio, boosted technical know how and a significantly expand its customer base.’
A further outcome of the acquisition will be to merge the sales companies within Ampco Flashlight at one location, which will result in a powerful one-stop-shop in the fields of light, audio and visuals.
‘With my background as engineer I can see the enormous technical and practical potential that we have created with this merger,’ says Dijkstra. ‘Being embedded in the Ampco Flashlight Group we formed a platform for our crew members and ourselves for taking on more, and bigger projects further, in a wider territory.’
Since opening in 1988, Audiopro has established itself as one of the principal suppliers and installers of d&b audiotechnik and Clear-Com systems.
