More Technologies and Budee introduced the Lectrosonics SSM micro bodypack transmitter to the Hong Kong pro audio market in August. The seminar was supported by More Technologies’ Peter More, and showcased Lectrosonics proprietary digital hybrid technology – among the smallest of its kind – as a revolutionary design that combines digital audio with an analogue FM radio link to provide high audio quality and RF performance.

BuddeeWith its thread adaptor, the HH handheld transmitter gives flexibility to choose capsule from other manufacturers. A side button on the outside casing of the body can be programmed to control talkback, power, mute and cough functions. ‘Designed for wet and dusty environment, the WM Watertight Belt-Pack Transmitter is very useful for outside video production, which can ensure the safety and the reliability of the equipment,’ says Mr Chung, Technical director of i-Cable Entertainment Limited.

The seminar also included the Aspen digital matrix digital audio processing product from Lectrosonics. The matrix provides a maximum of 48 outputs with no limit of inputs by stacking multiple units. Control can be applied through Ethernet, USB, RS232 and logic I/O ports using the large command library. Combined with comprehensive macro library, control options are available to meet a very wide range of requirements and user interfaces.

Lectrosonics’ DNT series with Dante technology allows as existing infrastructure to be used for high-performance audio, as well as for ordinary control, monitoring or business data traffic. Digital networks use standard IP over Ethernet offering high bandwidth capable of transporting hundreds of high -quality channels over Gigabit Ethernet. Set-up and configuring the system is made easy as well, saving enormous installation costs and long-term cost of ownership on a digital network. The physical connecting point is irrelevant: audio signals can be made available anywhere and everywhere. Patching and routing now become logical functions configured in software, not via physical wired links. DNT models have internal signal generators for set-up and diagnostics.
