US-based Music Mix Mobile (M3) used the recent New York AES Exhibition to announce the purchase of Lawo mc²56 consoles for their mobile recording trucks – one of which is based on the East Coast and the other in Los Angeles. The Emmy Award-winning company provides capture and broadcast services for a clientele that includes world class music and entertainment shows.
‘The decision to go with Lawo was a natural one for us,’ says Joel Singer, responsible for systems design and technical engineering at M3. ‘With these new consoles we can provide our customers the highest level of audio quality, while ensuring we have all the flexibility and reliability our business requires.’
The Lawo mc²56 consoles are fully-redundant systems, both have 48-fader surfaces with redundant cores and Stageboxes, built-in 8,196 x 8,196 audio routing capabilities and offer Ravenna/AES67 compliant operation.
