The placement of a Klotz Communications Graphite Two with a new broadcaster in Myanmar marks the 75th mixing console sale for the German manufacturer.
In partnership with Shwe Than Lwin Media, the Monnect Group is building Myanmar’s latest broadcasting station – including a main on-air studio, back-up studio, production studio and main control room. The console sale is through Klotz Communications’ Thai distributor, Digitra Co Ltd, the appointed system integrator for the overall installation. The Graphite Two sale also marks the 225th console sold by Klotz since its relaunch.
‘We are very happy with the success we have seen from the Graphite Two console,’ says Klotz Communications President, Thomas Klotz. ‘It’s a very popular mixer, and we’ve shipped these consoles to places all over the world. It’s a very affordable product and offers features that are often only found in consoles with a much higher price tag.’
The Graphite Two is a digitally networked console, which can be used in on-air and production. The console’s intuitive GUI provide end-users with a high degree of flexibility and matches the requirements of modern broadcasters. The console comes in sizes from four to 32 faders, and its modular I/O structure allows the expansion of the console at any stage. Its powerful DSP bank provides built-in audio processing on every channel, and all I/O modules and DSP cards are hot swappable. Multiple consoles can be networked using Madi, fibre or AoIP.
Klotz Communications is an advocate of Smart Radio, and its latest product launches confirm this direction for the company. The ability to use information from multiple platforms and to combine this information rapidly and economically is a challenge that producers currently face. Klotz Communications consoles address these requirements and its product range provide innovative solutions to connect events and teams, control a stations workflow, and delivering the tools needed to create entertaining and engaging programming.
