ZP Engineering is a design house based in Rome, Italy, offering design services for DSP, FPGA and embedded systems, with a strong focus on digital audio developments. Founded 12 years ago by Patrizio Pisani and Umberto Zanghieri, the company offers internal design know-how as well as integration services, including audio-over-LAN, IEEE-1394, and embedded computing modules, in order to reach the best combination that matches customers’ requirements. ZP also provides production services for several customers.

Adding to this, the company now handles Audinate’s Dante self configuring, plug-and-play digital media network. ‘The strengthened relationship with Audinate allows us to better leverage our integration capabilities with the industry-proven Dante networking solution’ says Zanghieri. ‘By widening our traditional offering in DSP, FPGA, embedded and general hardware development, ZP can now offer a complete design support to prospective customers’.

The partnership reflects interest in Dante from many small and mid-tier A/V companies – ZP can customise supply the respective Audinate Dante modules.
