Providing a bridge between any Dante IP audio network and Madi/AES10 audio formats, Focusrite’s RedNet 6 will handle up to 64 channels of coaxial or optical Madi audio and features a sample-rate convertor on each input and output.
External word clock in and outputs, allows Dante systems or Madi streams to be slaved to an external clock, with up to 64 channels of digital audio I/O at sample rates of 44.1kHz/48kHz, 32 channels at 96kHz or 16 channels at 192kHz.
Also included in the RedNet range of Dante break-in/break-out boxes, RedNet 1 and RedNet 2 offer eight or 16 channels of line-level analogue I/O, with Focusrite 24-bit AD and DA conversion. RedNet 3 interfaces digital audio systems and components to a Dante network via AES/EBU, SPDIF and Adat. RedNet 4 adds eight Focusrits remote controlled preamps/line inputs with two selectable DIs to a Dante system; while RedNet 5 provides a bridge between the Dante network and Pro Tools|HD systems. Also available is the RedNet Dante PCIe card, an ultra low latency 128 I/O Dante interface for PC and Mac.
