Roland Systems Group (UK) used the recent Plasa show to highlight the Beta version of its Mac Remote Control Software (RCS) for the M-480, M-400, M-380 and M-300 V-Mixers.

RCS is used for control or sending/receiving set-up data, allowing users to prepare channel set-ups, effects, and configurations before arriving at a venue. When connected via USB it allows additional and independent control of the V-Mixer. The release extends this facility to both PC and Mac users who can use native version of RCS, with current users also using the software in conjunction with Remote Desktop or VNC viewers to use wirelessly with iPads and other tablets.

The Mac version is expected to be available as a free download on the website through the relevant product downloads page (note: there is also a companion driver that must be loaded initially).
