Harrison Audio has announced the latest version of its Mixbus 11 DAW software, bringing new sound shaping tools and console-style workflow.

Harrison Mixbus 11 DAWAlong with Harrison’s ‘signature sound’, Mixbus 11 offers Harrison 32C EQ, signal processing, and analogue console-inspired saturation. The update also adds a switchable SSL SL9000J channel strip EQ as well as the ability to export Dolby Atmos certified .adm files with 3D object-based panning, dynamic automation tools, loudness optimisation, and binaural and 7.1.4 loudspeaker monitoring.

Mixbus enhances workflow with a fresh graphical user interface featuring dedicated Cue, Record, Edit and Mix pages. Each page has been refined to focus users’ efforts on the task at hand. Mixbus’s new Focus Channel functions as a hub, enabling users to access all of Harrison’s signature elements – the 32C EQ, Drive, Compressor, Gate and Mixbus Sends – simultaneously, even on smaller laptop monitors. The updated transport toolbar and a new Locator Bar help users navigate a session’s critical points through each stage of a production.

Streamlined, intuitive features include a dedicated Record Window that displays input level meters directly from a connected audio interface, even before creating tracks. In addition to a world-class mixer, Mixbus 11 features live-style clip launching, advanced smart-audio-editing capabilities, and per-region FX processing for applying plug-in effects directly to audio clips.
