Focusrite has recruited Simon Short to its RedNet team. Previously Pro Audio Sales Manager at MediaCast, he will now manage all elements of its business development in the UK.
‘Having worked on developing brands such as Avid, Universal Audio and SSL for a distributor in the Middle East, I felt the recent developments and advances in the pipeline of Focusrite's RedNet range provided an opportunity to take RedNet to the next level in the UK,’ he says. ‘Continued adoption into the live, education and commercial markets indicate that there is scope for RedNet to become the benchmark for high-quality, networked audio – and I'm excited to be part of that.’
