Jean Mullor has taken on the role of CEO for French loudspeaker manufacturer Nexo.

The announcement is accompanied by that of Yoshi Tsugawa – who has guided the company for the past three-and a-half years – returning to Japan, where he takes on new responsibilities as General Manager for Band & Orchestra products in the MI & Audio Sales & Marketing Group of the Yamaha Corporation.

Mullor comes to Nexo from Yamaha Music Europe, where he has spent nearly four years as Managing Director of the French subsidiary, in charge of the domestic distribution of musical instruments, commercial audio products, audio video products and music schools network development.

Trained as a lawyer, Mullor brings with him management experience and a lifelong passion for music, which took him from US petrochemical giant Mobil to Yamaha=, joining the French branch in 1992. Over the years, he has augmented his legal expertise with HR, logistics, finance, sales and marketing departmental experience.
