British loudspeaker manufacturer PMC has recruited Chris Allen to its international sales team, responsible for managing its global distribution network and liaising directly with clients.
After studying audio and recording technology at De Montfort University, Leicester, and Confetti Studios, Nottingham, Allen joined pro audio manufacturer Prism Sound. For the next seven years he provided sales and technical support for Prism Sound’s range of audio converters and analogue processors, which are widely used in high-end recording, mixing and mastering.
‘Chris brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the role and understands the importance of high-quality audio to recording professionals,’ says PMC Managing Director Miles Roberts. ‘This perfectly suits our ethos and we feel confident that his experience and contacts will help us attract new customers around the world.’
‘Having worked as both a creative audio engineer and for a leading audio manufacturer for several years, I understand the importance of critical reference monitoring in studios,’ says Allen. ‘I have always enjoyed working with PMC products for their clarity, transparency and their ability to deliver high-quality, distortion-free audio. I am excited to be part of an incredible team who share my passion for high quality audio and look forward to introducing these versatile products and solutions to new markets and customers alongside PMC’s partners and distributors around the world.’
