DAS Audio has appointed Arthur ‘Loren’ Robinson to the newly created position of Business Development Manager for Installed Sound, to oversee US sales and accounts.
Robinson will serve as the company’s interface with integrators, consultants, and design/build firms, and will also assist in managing and hiring the various representative firms that coordinate sales throughout the various territories. He is based in Southern California.
Robinson’s background makes him well-suited for his new position with DAS Audio. He studied Applied Electronics and his expertise includes audio systems, technical training, and large project development. Most recently, he served as the US/Canada Sales Manager for Community Professional Loudspeakers.
‘With sound systems used by leading touring artists, installations at many of the world’s most esteemed venues, and portable systems used by performing musicians for a wide range of applications, DAS Audio is, without question, one of the world’s great loudspeaker manufacturers,’ he says. ‘The company has an impressive product catalogue, with much of it being ideally suited for the installed sound and A/V markets, which I believe is rife with opportunities.
