The agreement with includes Autocue’s new video server range; its new range of high-end broadcast monitors; and its Starter Series teleprompters, lighting and camera support. ‘The appointment of Blonde Robot is the perfect opportunity to further extend our reach in the pro video market for our Starter Series, and also provides an excellent launch vehicle for our new video server and broadcast monitor ranges in this market,’ says Autocue CEO, Frank Hyman.
Autocue’s new range of broadcast-quality reference monitors will be launched this month ahead of NAB 2011, with immediate availability. There are three main series of monitor, each available in 17-inch or 24-inch sizes, as well as large-format 40-inch and 46-inch screens with HD-SDI for studio and gallery use.
Autocue’s Linux-based video servers are replacements for tape machines, as well as an affordable solution for secondary applications within top-end broadcasters. NAB will see a new version of the SSP10 and iPad prompter added to the Starter Series range, offering greater portability and weight reductions.
