Danish Interpretation Systems and Chinese distributor Wincomn are to extend the distribution agreement that has established DIS in the Chinese professional A/V installation market over the past six years.

‘Our distribution partner has done a very good job in introducing and making DIS a respected and established brand in the conferencing market here, confirms DIS General Manager, Thomas Frederiksen. ‘The extension of our agreement shows our commitment to continue and expand the DIS presence in China, one of our most important markets.’

The new agreement will continue till 2014 and includes the entire DIS product range, marketing and after sales service as well for Mainland China. At the recent China InfoComm Show 2011 in Beijing, both parties showed new DIS products and solutions covering Thin Client user application, IPod Camera control package, new software applications, new boundary and shotgun microphones.

‘We are very excited to continue our good business relationship with DIS and bringing new innovative features and products into the market,’ says Wincomn CEO, Tony Chen. ‘DIS continues to introduce new exciting products to the market and we shall do our best to make them available nationwide through our national offices and distribution network.’

The agreement was announced at Wincomn headquarters in Beijing.
