The 20th Palm Expo/Install China 2011 closed its doors at the China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC) claiming more than 211,000 ‘quality visitorships’ from 72 countries to its 1,700 exhibitors from more than 35 countries and regions.
Organiser IIR Exhibitions reported that the show – occupying a total area in excess of 85,000-sq-m – required two venues to meet its expansion from last year, with the Music segment located in the nearby China National Agricultural Exhibition Centre. The four-day event surpassed all previous years’ records.
On display were the technologies ranging from audio equipment, architectural and professional lighting systems, control systems, DJ products, LED Signage, LCD panels/LED displays, projection screens, stage/touring equipment and trussing, and video conferencing systems.
The exhibition was supported by other events including the Technology Summit, which attracted strong interest and a large audience, while a prize draw saw winners walking away with Apple iPads, C-Mark digital amplifiers, Pioneer headphones, Sennheiser earphones, Shure products, a Vestax Handytrax portable turntable and a stay at the Sheraton Beijing Hotel.
