German company cma audio has expanded its distribution portfolio by bringing Japanese in-ear monitor manufacturer Acoustune to the European market.
‘We are delighted to bring these absolutely unique products to the European market,’ says cma audio Head of Global Sales, Michael Zirkel. ‘All Acoustune products deliver a level of sound quality and sonic drive we have never experienced with in-ear-monitors.’
The Acoustune product line comprises the HS1750Cu, using an aluminium earbud housing a brass driver chamber made from brass with a 10mm full-range diaphragm made from Acoustune’s Myrinx material. Nine adapters in various sizes and shapes are included.
The HS1790Ti uses: a driver enclosure entirely made from titanium, and a sandwich diaphragm composed of Myrinx plus a thin layer of Titanium. It uses 10mm full-range driver in its titanium enclosure, and is accompanied by nine adapters in various sizes and choice of materials and design.
Acoustune was founded in 2013 by a group of experienced specialists from the Japanese headphone scene. Their goal is to produce in-ear monitors that combine sound quality, craftmanship and the choice materials. Dynamic full-range drivers are preferred to ensure a maximum of dynamics and homogeneity. The company conducts its own R&D, and invests in exclusive transducer technology, materials and tuning.
Acoustune products will be available in Europe from September 2023 through retail and cma audio.
