The 2012 BroadcastAsia International Conference will see the Asia-Pacifi Broadcasting Union the Technology Department join show organiser Singapore Exhibition Services (SES) in presenting the event in Singapore.
The ABU Technology Department will assist SES in selecting the conference theme, outlining the conference programme and identifying the speakers for the conference. SES will continue to organise the conference and host it.
‘I am delighted that SES and the ABU have decided to work together on this prominent event which serves the broadcasting industry in this region and in many other parts of the world,’ says ABU Secretary-General, Javad Mottaghi. ‘This collaboration between the two organisations will result in positive gains for the conference and the key industry stakeholders’.
The ABU has been closely associated with BroadcastAsia since it was first staged in 1996.
‘Over the years, BroadcastAsia has established itself as a key hub and platform enabling many global industry players to network and do business together,’ says SES Chief Executive, Stephen Tan. ‘We believe that this collaboration with the ABU will serve to cement the conference as the must-attend event.’
The event is scheduled to take place at Suntec Centre in Singapore from 19 to 22 June.
A comprehensive calendar of international audio trade shows is available on Fast-and-Wide’s events list.
