Traction Sound has appointed iLED as its new distributor for South Africa.

After co-presenting one of the 2012 Plasa show seminars, Traction Sound took the iLED team to visit its seaside home in Brighton – to listen to its loudspeaker range.

It didn't take iLED’s Justin Mamulis long to understand the benefits of Traction Sound's SDS Horn: ‘The industry-standard compression driver introduces distortion through diaphragm break up and inherent air distortion [wave steepening],’ says Traction Sound's Billy Wood. ‘Our SDS Horn overcomes these drawback by using a multiplicity of soft dome tweeters to produce the same energy from a much larger source area.
