Solid State Logic has expanded the Asia support for its Live mixing console with the addtition of DMT in Hong Kong and Beijing, and Stage Craft International the Philippines to its commercial distribution network. The company will also handle the Singapore through its local office.
‘China and South East Asia represent an important and growing market for Solid State Logic,’ says SSL Sales Manager, Anthony Gofton. ‘The live music scene in this region is vibrant and very healthy, and we look forward to being an increasingly important part of that. We will host events across the region throughout 2014 and will be showing the console at many trade shows, seminars and concerts. This way, everyone will have the opportunity to see and hear the SSL Live console for themselves.’
DMT is an established partner for SSL, having been an exclusive distributor in the greater China and Hong Kong territory for nearly 20 years: ‘By catering for the professional broadcast, music and postproduction markets, we have forged a very close working relationship with SSL and have worked hard to expand our operation to serve the live and installation markets,’ says Technical Director, Chris Fish. ‘The SSL Live represents an exciting new opportunity for us in this field and perfectly complements our existing high-end live companies. Stage Craft International serves the pro audio and lighting industry through broadcast studios, houses of worship and live venues across the Philippines: ‘We are closely associated with the leading brands in the world, and SSL is the best in this field,’ says Stage Craft International Senior Sales Manager for Shiela Petalio. ‘Our specialists have been trained by SSL in the operation and service of the Live desk, and we can’t wait to show it to our customers. There is already so much interest.’
