Recognising the contributions made to the success of the UK music industry, the MPG Awards 2011 will take place at Floridita, London, on 9 February.

After receiving nominations for qualifying people in each category, the shortlists were voted on by full members of the Guild, and those chosen will now be put before a final judging panel, with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony.

The final award for Unsung Hero will be voted for by the readers of Pro Sound News Europe – the Music Producers Guild’s media partner for this event – and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony.

The winner of the Music Producers Guild’s Producer of the Year Award also receives a Brit Award for Best Producer, and both awards will be presented at the Music Producers Guild’s Awards ceremony.
