Arturia has brought improvements, tweaks and performance fixes to its V Collection with a free v9.1 update.
Part of the updated offering is a series of 21 sound design tutorials from Arturia’s in-house experts, explaining how to craft mix-worthy sounds from scratch, from fat basses to the wild SFX, for Korg MS-20 V, Prophet-5 V, CS-80 V and SQ80 V.
Among enhancements to Analog Lab are polyphony options for all instruments and presets, as well as the ability to customise MPE settings via the side panel, and input audio for use with Vocoder V presets. V Collection and Analog Lab now offer improved accessibility features for visually-impaired musicians and producers providing navigation of sounds and library management with a variety of new keyboard shortcuts and voiceover feedback additions.
MiniLab 3 Midi controller integration supports control of every V Collection 9 instrument using MiniLab 3’s controls for tweaking sounds, browsing presets and a streamlined workflow. Custom playlists can be created to navigate tags, and V Collection preset libraries quicker than ever through a improvements and fixes to the tagging and playlist system, covering preset ordering, copy-and-paste, duplication among other controls.
In Arturia Software Center, users can now define where resource files are kept, making it easier to manage downloads and updates.
With the exception of Except Analog Lab V, all V Collection 9 software titles are now fully NKS certified, ensuring a seamless DAW workflow with Native Instruments hardware and software alongside Arturia plug-ins. Testing and feedback from the V Collection user community has also ensured that V Collection 9.1 introduces performance fixes for select instruments.
