Allen & Heath has launched the Xone:PX5 4+1 channel DJ performance mixer, combining Xone analogue audio quality with digital connectivity and performance-focused FX processing.

Equipped with the Xone VCF filter, three-band total kill EQ on all channels, and a new internal Xone:FX engine, the PX5 also features a hi-spec 20-channel USB soundcard with Xone:Sync and Midi integration, all packaged within an intuitive surface layout.

The PX5’s FX engine features the newly developed Xone:Xcite library of performance-focused FX, coupled with hands-on controls for instant, instinctive operation. A hybrid FX mode combines the internal and external send and return FX for advanced FX processing. Meanwhile, the Xone filter system includes HPF, BPF, LPF, resonance control and frequency sweep, plus the option to route the aux channel and External Return to the filter.

The premium internal 20-channel/96kHz/24-bit USB2 soundcard is class compliant on Mac and enables five stereo channels to be streamed into the mixer from performance software, while the new Xone:Sync engine features comprehensive Midi clock options, enabling the connection of external software/hardware instruments, such as drum machines and synthesizers. Xone:PX5 also features plug-and-play connection via X:Link to the Xone:K series controllers for further Midi control options.
