Black Lion Audio has announced the PG-XLM Power Conditioner and PG-X Power Conditioner – 1U-high rackmount professional power conditioning units with PG-90 noise filtering.

Following its PG-1 rackmount power conditioner (also available as the PG-1 Type F) with 230V Europlug connections, the company has turned its attention to professionals working with a smaller budget with the PG-XLM and PG-X, retaining best-in-class professional power conditioning. The PG-90 Filtering technology used in both units provides an average of 90 per cent of noise filtering, as opposed to a typical average of 76 per cent found in other power conditioners at this price point.

The PG-XLM features a rear panel bank of eight switched, filtered, and surge-protected power outlets. On the front panel, there is a single switched outlet, an LED display-based real-time voltage monitoring, two pull-out lamps, and a (5V1A) USB charger for device charging. As suggested by its abridged designation, the PG-X forgoes the lamps and metering, but delivers the same core functionality.

The PG-XLM Power Conditioner is available to purchase through Black Lion Audio’s growing global network of dealers/distributors – KMR Audio in the UK – at an MAP of US$199 and an SSP of €199 (excluding VAT).
