ESI Audio has announced the planet 22c Dante audio interface, enabling Dante networks to be expanded quickly and easily in live performance, broadcast stations and in permanent installations. The planet 22c is also suited to mobile use dueto its compact size and low weight.
Following the planet 22x, this is the second Dante-capable device offered by ESI.
The planet 22c interface is equipped with two balanced inputs and outputs for connecting devices such as mixers, synthesisers and instruments. Its Burr-Brown 24-bit digital converters provide a linear frequency response and a dynamic range up to 120dB(A). It is possible to power the device not only via the included 12V DC PSU.
but directly via the network cable as a PoE device.
