German company ESI Audiotechnik had announced the Neva Uno and Neva Duo, two new affordable entry-level desktop audio interfaces.
Neva Uno and Neva Duo are offered as audio interfaces for beginners and users on a budget. Neva Uno has one phantom powered professional microphone preamplifier and a guitar input. Neva Duo provides two of each. Both Interfaces connect via USB-C to any modern PC or Mac and to many mobile devices and provide everything needed to get started.
The interfaces have professional EWDM drivers with low-latency ASIO support, including DirectWire loopback function enabling them to be used with any professional audio software and also for podcasting and online streaming applications, especially if multiple programs are used simultaneously.
Neva Uno and Neva Duo include a software package that includes Bitwig Studio 8-Track, Cubasis LE (for iPad), WaveLab LE and the Audified inTone ESI Edition. They also ship with a three-month subscription for the online music performance tool’ JackTrip.
‘We decided that it is time to provide basic professional features like ultra-low-latency ASIO drivers and decent 192kHz, 24-bit support at a cost anyone can afford,’says ESI Audiotechnik CEO, Claus Riethmüller.
Neva Uno and Neva Duo will begin shipping to retailers in Europe in December – the Neva Uno carries an MSRP of €69 and the Neva Duo an MSRP of €85.
