Audient has announced the ASP880 eight-channel microphone preamplifier and A/D converter.

ASP880 features eight of Audient’s console mic preamplifiers, two JFET DI instrument inputs, variable impedance and variable high-pass filters in a 1U-high rackmount unit.

Each channel has a balanced insert with direct access to the converter so the ASP880 can be used as an eight-channel mic preamplifier and a standalone converter. “We know how important integrating outboard gear is to our customers.
