Audient iD22 Windows drivers

Audient iD22Audient has released Windows drivers for its iD22 high-performance AD/DA recording interface and monitoring controller.

Available for download directly from Audient’s website, the drivers provide multi-application support for WDM and ASIO and an efficient and low-latency Mixer Application to users of Windows 7 and Windows 8. This extends iD22’s compatibility from Apple’s OS-X Mavericks.

‘I can now take my Audient console mic pres with me on the road,’ says record producer/mixer Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Kids in Glass Houses, Funeral for a Friend), whose studio is built around a large-format Audient ASP8024 console.

The two discrete Class-A hybrid mic preamps in the iD22 are the same as those on the ASP8024.
