Mackie has added to its Thump Series portable, powered loudspeakers, with the launch of the Thump TH-12A – a 400W, two-way 12-inch loudspeaker intended for ‘any application that demands high-output and professional sound without breaking the budget’.
The TH-12A’s class-D Fast Recovery amplification provides 400W of system power, matched to a custom-designed 12-inch high-precision woofer and 1-inch compression driver. An integrated three-band EQ on the back panel allows simple room correction or tonal adjustment per application (vocal only, low-volume).
Featuring Mackie Active electronics, a precision crossover and transducer time-alignment optimise the system, while protective circuitry protects against overload and thermal shutdown.
The speaker is pole-mountable and suited to use as a stage monitor, as well as for vocal applications, solo performances or DJ monitoring.
The TH-12A is now available worldwide.
