Along with the new loudspeakers, parent company IAG has developed a composite finish for the Delta Series, Rhino Rock – ‘tough enough for the most demanding touring applications yet providing the pleasing aesthetics of a painted finish’.
‘We started off with a brief to create a robust touring loudspeaker that punches above its weight in terms of sound quality and durability,’ says Wharfedale Pro Product Manager, Mike Mayne. ‘Advanced computer assisted techniques have been used to tune the enclosure, creating an end product with tight bass, a sparkling top end and accurate transient reproduction. We have leveraged our manufacturing capabilities to include important features, improve sound quality and defy the price point. The Delta Series two-way models include rigging points for use in flown applications for demanding fixed installations and larger venue touring applications.’
