JBL Pro has added two new loudspeakers to the PRX900 Series of PA loudspeakers, the PRX925 and PRX935.
The PRX925 features dual 15-inch woofers in a two-way design for larger spaces or applications that could benefit from increased SPL and low-end performance. The, meanwhile, PRX935 has a single 15-inch woofer, a 6-inch mid-frequency transducer in a three-way design for applications that could benefit from enhanced mid-range and vocal clarity such as houses of worship and corporate A/V providers.
These new additions emplys comprehensive DSP, high power performance and durability, and BLE control via the JBL Pro Connect app.
PRX900’s DSP package is accessible via an onboard colour LCD or the JBL Pro Connect app, and includes 12-band parametric EQ for system tuning and integrated dbx Automatic Feedback Suppression. The Pro Connect app empowers Android or iOS mobile device control over mixer and DSP functions, including management of a wide range of settings and effects. Up to ten JBL Pro Connect app-enabled systems and loudspeakers can be controlled.
Both the PRX925 and PRX935 are designed to for the rigours of life on the road. Enclosed in an 18mm birch cabinet with optimised bracing, they claim ‘a smooth, accurate low-end response’.
