dBTechnologies has announced an upgrade to its DVX loudspeaker series.
Taking advantage of the technology advances and incorporating proprietary digital amplifiers, the company has improved sound pressure and frequency response.
The DVX HP series comprises four multi-functional, two-way systems, all of which are constructed of birch multiplex housings equipped with rigging points and rails.
Ranging from the 8-inch/1-inch DVX D8 HP to the 15-inch/1.4-inch DVX D15 HP, the four multi-funtional cabinets are configurable as full-range systems, combinations of mid-/high-range units and subwoofers, and can also be used as monitors, side fills or delay lines.
Each unit now incorporates digipro G2 power amp technology for greater power and performance with convection cooling, delivering up to 1.4kW. Integrated DSP serves as an active equaliser, crossover and high-pass filter.
Versatile and robust, the DVX series serves PA hire and sound reinforcement companies suitable for both mobile applications and fixed installation. The DVX HP series will be shipping in Q3 2012.
The DVX HP Series comprises the DVX D8HP, DVX D10 HP, DVX D12 HP and DVX D15 HP.
