The Source Audio Midi Adapter enables pedal presets or parameters to be quickly changed ad provides full Midi functionality to all Source Audio pedals including the C4 Synth, Aftershock Bass Distortion, Atlas Compressor, and Spectrum Intelligent Filter, via single footswitch. It also works with all standard Midi devices.
Connecting the Midi Adapter to a pedal’s Control Input allows use Midi PC (Program Change) messages to be used to switch presets, and Midi CC (Continuous Controller) messages to change parameter settings or to move parameters with an expression pedal.
By default, all Source Audio pedals are set to Midi Channel 1 and respond to Midi PC messages for preset switching, with further Midi control possibilities offered by the Neuro Desktop Editor – a free download available for Mac and Windows systems through Source Audio’a Downloads page. Inside Neuro are the necessary tools to change Midi channels, save pedal presets, assign Midi CC messages to specific parameters, and set up Midi clock.
The Midi Adapter provides full Midi capabilities to all non-legacy Source Audio pedals.
