Røde Microphones has launched Lavalier Go, a high-quality, professional-grade lavalier microphone designed to accompany the Wireless Go and recording devices using a 3.5mm TRS microphone input.
Wireless Go claims to be ‘the world’s smallest and most versatile wireless microphone system’, with transmitter and receiver weighing 31g each, making it compact and with its 4.5mm omnidirectional mic built into the transmitter. For users wanting the added flexibility of a lapel mic, the Lavalier Go can be plugged into the transmitter and clipped onto a shirt, with the transmitter into a pocket or clipped to a belt.
The package features a broadcast-grade lavalier microphone with 3.5mm TRS jack, for use by filmmakers, vloggers, journalists and business professionals; a high-quality omnidirectional condenser capsule, designed in Røde’s facility in Sydney; durable, Kevlar reinforced cable; and pop shield, mounting clip and carry pouch.
The mic offers a 20Hz-20kHz response with 83dB dynamic range, 67dB S/N ratio and 110dB maximum SPL handling. It has a 3kΩ output impedance, 27dB EIN and -35dB sensitivity (17.8mV @94dB SPL).
Lavalier Go is shipping for US$79; Wireless Go is available now for US$199.
