Broadcast Products has added LaON 5GHz Digital Wireless Intercom systems to its products portfolio for distribution in DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Norway & Denmark), Baltic countries (Estonia, Lithuania & Latvia), Spain, Eastern Europe (Hungary, Ukraine & Czech), Balkans (Romania, Croatia, Serbia & Moldova), and several additional countries in cooperation with local partners.
The high-performance wireless communication from South Korean Intercom specialist LaON can be used where critical and clear communication is key, and ‘belt pack mobility’ is required. It enables the user full-duplex hands-free communications with the consistent audio clarity without PTT operation.
LaON Intercom systems work with non-compressed audio in licence-free 5GHz UNII Band. More features include an IP-based repeater together with a Remote Base Station, less than 23ms latency, up to eleven full-duplex audio channels, five communication group channels and AES 256-bit Level 3 encryption.
The LaON Intercom line includes LT750, LT550, LT250 and LT150, covering any application and accommodating user’s know-how level – from large events to lightweight mobile systems and from expert to newcomer. Due to their technical specifications the systems can be used in broadcast studios, live TV production, OB vans, stadia, theatres, schools and houses of worship.
