Following its appointment as distributor as UK and Ireland for Studer, HHB Communications is showcasing a new build and installation at The Economist newspaper, featuring the OnAir1500 radio production console.
A weekly publication since 1843, The Economist is a veteran of the media industry and relies on current technologies and formats. In keeping with this, the publication approached HHB and Hard Six Audio to install and build a new studio around the compact OnAir1500. Used to produce high-quality and informative podcasts for their audience, The Economist’s studio is based at its new headquarters in the Adelphi building on London’s Victoria Embankment.
‘The Economist has streamlined its studio workflow and created an effective and future proof environment, to cater for any project it faces in the future in an efficient and effective way,’ says HHB Sales Director, Steve Angel. ‘The Economist delivers content globally and has proven that it’s quality not quantity that counts.’
