Van Damme has appointed Arda as distributor for Portugal.

Established in 2017, Arda is a leading supplier of professional audio equipment in the country, representing brands including Avid, Neumann, Prism Sound and Rupert Neve Designs. Formed by professional audio engineers, the focus is on building strong relationships and delivering high-quality, reliable equipment to clients.

‘All of us at Arda are sound engineers, we’re still engineering and mastering records every day,’ says Arda founder, Miguel Pinheiro Marques. ‘We’ve been using Van Damme cable in our own studios for more than a decade, so when we started dealing brands and designing studios for our clients it was our first and only choice for a cabling solution.

‘We think it’s the best cable on the market, with a vast product range, so it was a no-brainer decision for us. After almost a year of dealing Van Damme as a local dealer our business grew to the point where we now assume distribution for the Portuguese market. Our plan is to bring the Van Damme quality and product innovation to all sectors – live sound, install, music retail shops and studios – as the premium brand it is to a market that’s definitely looking for quality and innovation.’
