Stage Tec has announced the expansion of its sales network in Asia with the appointment of Syncfish to distribute the entire Stage Tec product range in South Korea.
Founded by Insu Hwang in 2001, Syncfish specialises in consultancy and the sale of professional audio equipment to recording studios, radio stations, postproduction studios and concert halls. In addition to sales, Syncfish also designs systems and provides training and support. The company has completed many projects in postproduction projects, recording studios and live sound.
Hwang began his two-pronged career in 1989 – as a sound engineer in the music industry and as a composer. ‘Stage Tec is renowned in Korea for its quality and reliability, and fits in perfectly with our portfolio,’ he says. ‘At Koba I had noticed just how interested the visitors were in Aurus and Nexus. Flexible AoIP is currently a major topic in Korea, and Stage Tec is very well positioned in this respect. I look forward to us working together.’
