One of the best-known operations in the Western US, has LA-based sound rental company Rat Sound Systems has purchase the Outline Newton 16+8 FPGA-based processing platform.

‘Rat Sound has been searching for several years for a solution to drive our festival sound systems, and Outline has met the challenge with an elegant solution,’ says Rat Sound Systems Project Manager, Jon Monson.

Rat has immediately begun deploying Newton's on a multitude of festivals, and we plan on utilizing them on all our festival events in 2019 and beyond.’

Artists and venues serviced by the company from Camarillo include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, RE., Warped Tour, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, Jack Johnson, Coachella, Ben Harper, Bryan Adams, Jimmy Eat World, Paramount Studios, Macy’s and The Pomona Fox Theater.
