Recently rebranded, Sparq is the technical event production arm of the Saville Group. Underlining its relationship with KV2 Audio, the company has invested in 30 new units from the KV2 ESD and EX ranges. As an early adopter, the company has made regular additions to its KV2 rental stock since purchasing one of the very first ES systems.
Destined for the Sparq Coventry, Leeds and Manchester branches, the recent delivery takes Sparq’s overall hire inventory to a total of 80 KV2 passive ESD Series units (ESD 5, ESD 6, ESD 36, ESD 10 and ESM 26) and 60 KV2 active EX Series cabinets (EX 6, EX 10, EX 26, and EX 1.2). This is in addition to the original ES system that remains fully operational.
‘In an ever-changing market with manufacturers coming and going, and the latest trends and re-inventions being touted as the next best thing, such loyalty to a brand shows how KV2’s unchanging and uncompromised approach to delivering the original source in its truest detail is hard to better,’ says KV2 UK Sales Manager, Tom Weldon. ‘The unrivalled clarity, definition and output from such compact footprints mean that Sparq can set up great sounding events without needing vast quantities of loudspeakers, a key factor in the aesthetically sensitive nature of Sparq’s work.’
‘We have worked with KV2 Audio since the company established its UK distribution base 17 years ago, and this latest investment has seen us add a further 30 units to our rental stock,’ adds Sparq Technical Support Manager, Andrew Ellerby. ‘The combination of quality sound, reliable performance and brilliant customer service, means we return to KV2 whenever we’re looking to update our audio. Developing strategic partnerships with suppliers is incredibly important for us, so we’re pleased to have forged such a great relationship with KV2 and its team – here’s to many more years working together.’
