API distributor La Resistance Pro Audio Group has installed a 32-channel API 2448 analogue mixing console at its premises in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The console is now available for demo at the studio, and is the first 2448 console to be commissioned in Puerto Rico.

Audio engineer Earl Brown (Bob Marley) was the first to take a demo of the desk and ‘immediately fell in love with it’, says La Resistance manager, Dennis Morales.

‘It’s incredible how many routing options you have with this console and how much depth it brings to our mixes,’ he adds. ‘The API 2448 is very easy to operate, and the option to use it as a DAW controller can give us endless possibilities.’
