ALC NetworX has announced that RTW has joined the Ravenna community.
Cologne-based RTW has produced products and technologies for visual audio monitoring in broadcast, production, postproduction and quality control for 50 years, promising ‘a future-oriented strategic approach that focuses on continuous development while paying maximum attention to reliability and protecting clients’ investments’.
RTW’s latest TouchMonitor product range claims to mark a paradigm shift in visual audio monitoring and loudness metering. The recent introduction of a Dante interface for the TM7 and TM9 units signalled the move to add full AES67 compatibility through the integration of a native Ravenna interface option.
‘Professional audio is rapidly moving toward IP audio solutions, and since our core customers are broadcasters throughout the world, embracing Ravenna for our TouchMonitor platform was simply an incredibly logical – and a highly strategic – step,’ says RTW CEO, Andreas Tweitmann. ‘In short, we very are excited about this partnership and are confident that it will be very well received in the broadcast audio-monitoring market.’
‘We are very pleased to welcome RTW to the Ravenna Partner community,’ says ALC NetworX’s Andreas Hildebrand. ‘The company’s core expertise in audiovisual monitoring tools adds significant value to the Ravenna community. Being able to directly connect monitoring equipment to the network environment provides a huge increase in system flexibility. With the new Ravenna interface, RTW’s monitoring solutions can not only offer full AES67 compatibility but also provide future extensibility following the release of new standards.’
