Audio Media Research (AMR) has acquired the ReValver guitar amplifier modelling software line from Peavey Electronics.
In December 2019, AMR will launch the ReValver line with an updated version of the flagship ReValver, as well as new additions to the ReValver line that the company promises will bring ‘entirely new innovations’ to the guitar amplifier modelling software market.
‘We at AMR are thrilled to get the opportunity to continue and further the legacy of the ReValver amp modeling line,’ says Audio Media Research COO, Scott Mire. ‘Time and time again, ReValver has raised the bar for what is possible in guitar amp modelling software and AMR intends to continue this tradition. The innovations that will be introduced in the new ReValver line will give guitarists an unprecedented array of sonic tools at their fingertips.’
Audio Media Research was founded by Hartley Peavey as a research and development branch of Peavey Electronics. The company continues as a stand-alone entity focused on audio software, digital signal processing and ‘forward looking projects of all kinds’.
