When PAUL Azerbaijan embarked upon its latest projects in Baku, it again approached distributor ProAV, for its audio requirements. After installing an alternative in the first restaurant in the city, the management of the global brand opted for Martin Audio’s CDD series coaxial differential dispersion loudspeakers at the Paul Azerbaijan Cinema and Paul Caspian.
‘The client was looking for high-quality background music, and we specified CDD series speakers because of the amazing sound quality for this purpose,’ says ProAV MD, Elshan Aliyev. ‘CDD series speakers have a very specific sound and are our number one choice for background music applications.’
ProAV installed 14 ultra-compact CDD5 and four SX110 (10-inch) subwoofers, as well as ten C6.8T 6.5-inch high-performance, flush-mount ceiling speakers. The CDD5 is a two-way passive speaker designed for unobtrusive positioning in architectural installations – including bars, museums, foyers and restaurants such as this. It features a unique 5-inch (125mm) LF/0.7-inch (19mm) HF Coaxial Differential Dispersion driver in a rigid ABS moulded enclosure, and comes with a versatile, omnidirectional mounting bracket.
‘This Martin Audio sound system installation from the team at ProAV perfectly fits our requirements – and has also met the approval of our clientele,’ reports a spokesman for the company’s management.
