UK-based assistive listening technology specialist Contacta Systems has announced a new partnership with Australia/New Zealand distributor AVW Group following the withdrawal of previous partner, Exertis Pro AV. The new partnership will see Contacta’s radio frequency and infrared assistive listening systems available to customers in the region for the first time.
‘Australia and New Zealand is a key region for us,’ says Contacta Head of Business Development, Ran Meyrav.’ We have seen a growing demand for our products over recent years and are confident in the success this partnership will deliver.’
With almost 40 years’ experience in the sector, AVW Group is one of the longest established players in the region, with an operation comprising eight offices that together cover all six Australian territories and the whole of New Zealand. Former Exertis Pro AV team members Nick Cocks and Brad Eather have taken up roles with AVW, and will continue to represent Contacta as Senior Customer Sales & Relationships Manager and Customer Sales & Relationships Manager respectively.
‘This is a fantastic partnership for us,’ says AVW Group MD, Murray Hunt. ‘Contacta’s reputation precedes them, and we are excited to introduce our customer base to the full range of Contacta’s products. Nick and Brad’s knowledge of Contacta’s portfolio will allow us to hit the ground running and deliver a first-class service in what is a growing sector of assistive listening technology.’
‘We are delighted to be working with Murray, Nick, Brad and the team at AVW,’ Meyrav adds. ‘From our initial discussions the professionalism and knowledge base were evident. We found an immediate understanding and common goals.’
