PXL Media has become India’s first user of Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision (WPL) line array, having recently moved into the professional touring audio domain.
A production house known across South India as a leader in large-format LED screen rentals, PXL Media has launched SXL, a division centred around providing exceptional touring audio systems. ‘Together with VXL (Video) and LXL (Lights), we can provide a complete solution to our customers,’ explains PXL Media CEO, Pratheesh Michael.
‘This purchase also helps Pixel Media to make its mark as a significant player in the touring industry in Kerala, currently one of the fastest growing events and touring markets in India. ‘We will quickly expand into all of South India soon.’

The system inventory for Pixel Media includes the WPL three-way bi-amplified, 2x 12-inch large format line-array elements, with the dual 18-inch horn-loaded SXH 218 subwoofers. The system is powered by two racks of Martin Audio’s iKon iK42 amplifiers, network switches, signal and power distros.
