Symetrix has appointed GSL Professional as its premier distributor for the Middle East.

Members of the GSL Professional team: Fouad Fowzi, CEO; Leila Dolatshahi, Procurement Manager; and Faegh Fowzi, MDGSL has been serving the professional A/V, lighting and control market in the region for more than 20 years, and provides comprehensive solutions for key verticals including broadcast, recording, live sound, corporate, education, government, and hospitality. The addition of Symetrix to the Dubai-based distributor’s product portfolio will support its efforts to offer a full signal chain of best-in-class audio solutions to its customers.

‘One of the key elements which helps GSL to stand out from our competition is that we are purely focused on distribution and we are not just a box shifter,’ says GSL Professional MD, Faegh Fowzi. ‘We have a large experience centre as well as an in-house training facility and a dedicated service centre to ensure our after-sales process is second to none. This has enabled us to develop strong relationships with a variety of system integration companies across the region, as well as consultants and contractors.’

‘As a distribution partner, GSL has demonstrated that account service and support are critical elements in their business model,’ says Symetrix Director of International Sales, Jim Newhouse. ‘This quality makes Symetrix’s partners in each of our markets special to us, and invaluable to their customers.’

GSL is well positioned to support users, train local contractors, and introduce new consultants to the Symetrix DSP and control products. Symetrix is already a popular choice for industry professionals in the Middle East, but the new distributor feels there is room for further growth.

‘Both Symetrix and GSL will strengthen their market presence, position, and solutions across the GCC region,’ Fowzi says.

GSL’s primary task will be to expand market awareness and availability of the product line, while also representing Symetrix in the local market. ‘There is no question that the Middle East market will only continue to grow,’ Newhouse says. ‘We want to encourage and support that growth.
