NoiseWorks Audio’s DynAssist vocal and dialogue processing tool is now fully compatible with Audio Random Access (ARA) in Pro Tools. This integration allows users to streamline their workflow, applying intelligent dynamics processing without the need for real-time playback.
With ARA support, DynAssist directly interacts with Pro Tools’ timeline, enabling instant analysis and processing of audio clips. This removes the need for real-time playback during adjustments, improving efficiency for music producers, mixing engineers, and post-production professionals working in Pro Tools.
DynAssist provides tools designed to automate key vocal processing tasks, including:
Automatic Gain Levelling to ensure a steady vocal performance without excessive compression; AI-Powered Gate Control that intelligently reduces background noise in pauses without cutting off speech; and Breath & Sibilance Detection to tansparently remove unwanted artifacts while preserving natural tone. Additionally, Instrument Mode optimises dynamics for instruments such as drums and bass.
Unlike traditional dynamic processors that require manual automation or multiple plug-ins, DynAssist’s ARA integration allows users to apply processing instantly, making it a powerful time-saving tool for mixing, dialogue editing, and vocal production.

DynAssist Lite provides core functionality, including ARA support, with a streamlined feature set. Users can upgrade to the full version to unlock advanced processing options.
DynAssist with ARA support for Pro Tools is available now. Entitled Pro Tools customers can download DynAssist Lite via the Avid Link application or their Avid Account.
