Audio Precision updates support for Germany and Austria

Audio Precision has signed a distribution agreement for Germany and Austria – from October 2011, sales and service responsibilities for the two countries passes to Admess Vertriebs GmbH, ending AP’s 25-year distribution contract with Cologne’s RTW.

A test and measurement specialist based in the German Pfalz, Admess has 20 years’ experience of test and measurement product distribution, field engineers experienced in audio as well as general electronics test, and local offices in Berlin, Magdeburg, Frankfurt am Main, Reutlingen, Kirchheimbolanden and Markersdorf, Austria.

While Admess Vertriebs had the basic credentials AP requires of its distribution partners, it was its attention to customer service that won the day: ‘In our distributors, we look for companies that work with their clients to find solutions to their problems, and tailor test and measurement systems for them accordingly, instead of being narrowly focused on selling a particular piece of equipment and walking away,’ says AP President, Dave Schmoldt. ‘Admess’ mix of consultative sales approach and thorough after-sales advice and support, is the perfect fit for us in these respects.’

In addition to sales and pre-sales advisory duties, Admess will manage all AP-related warranty, calibration and service queries in Germany and Austria with immediate effect. In the interests of a smooth transition from the previous distributorship, any quotes issued by RTW for AP equipment before 15 September 2011 will be honoured by RTW until 31 December.
