SSL is to stage a Studio Workshop ‘bringing together like-minded individuals to share expertise and strengthen local production communities’ at the Melia Hotel KL in Kuala Lumpur.
Set for 16 November, the event will offer of a short presentation of the current SSL console, DAW control/audio processing range, covering its place in a DAW-based project studio and how it can improve and speed workflow. ‘SSL Studio Workshops offer you a unique opportunity to see and hear the improvements SSL ‘big studio’ technology can make in your project studio productions,’ the company says.
The event will be hosted by Solid State Logic’s Damien Egan who will demonstrate the Nucleus DAW Controller/Audio Interface and Duende Native Plug-in mixing suite. As well as SSL, Egan has worked with Redman, Blue, Ciara, Macy Gray, Artful Dodger, Kool and the Gang and other artists – the workshop will give an insight into an experienced producer’s work using laptop and controller.
